Adam Laycock, a junior at Westlake High in California, won the boys invitational discus throw with a mark of 183-4 (55.88m) at the Ventura County Championships at Moorpark High. Laycock also prevailed in the invitational shot put with a 50-8.25 (15.44m) effort.
